Unity - Affiliates - FAQ Frequently Asked Questions Affiliate Program Overview What is the Affiliate Program? If you manage a blog, website or social media page, then the Unity Affiliate Program provides a great opportunity for you to enhance your site with Unity content while earning commissions. Who is Performance Horizon Group (PHG)? Performance Horizon Group (PHG) is the affiliate provider for the Unity Affiliate Program. Can I change the Affiliate Terms & Conditions? No, we do not make custom agreements or Terms and Conditions for individual affiliates. Getting Started I have many websites, can I use my Affiliate account for all of them? Yes, as long as your sites comply with the program terms, we do not restrict how many sites are tied to your affiliate account. Please note that posting links on any Unity web properties are prohibited. How much does it cost to join? The program is free to join. How do I sign up? Applying to become an affiliate is quick and easy. Apply now with your contact information and website url where you plan to promote Unity. We will review your application within 5 business days, and you will receive a notification email once we reviewed your application. How do I use the PHG dashboard? To understand how to use the PHG Dashboard, please review PHG's comprehensive dashboard guide . Can I participate if I'm not a US citizen? Yes! One of our main goals is to support the international community to engage with and use the Asset Store. How does the Unity Affiliate Program work? After you apply for our program and are accepted as an affiliate of Unity, you may place Asset Store links via widgets, text links and direct links on your website or social media page. When your visitors click through to the Unity website via these links, that visitor is tracked within a 24 hour cookie window until they place an order. When an order is placed by such a visitor, the order is associated with your website as the referring source and your affiliate account is credited a commission for the order. So the more visitors you refer and the more of those visitors who purchase assets from the Unity Asset Store, the more you get paid. Linking How do I create links? Easily create affiliate encoded links by navigating to the Creative tab from within the affiliate dashboard. Search for any asset on the Asset Store and when you select the Tracking. http://prf.hn/click/camref: XXXXXX . Where XXXXXX is your unique camref which should be appended to all affiliate links as shown in the example above. **Unity is not responsible for improperly coded affiliate links What is the pubref parameter? The "pubref" parameter is an optional sub-tracking parameter which can be used to optimize your affiliate efforts. The pubref parameter will track separate campaigns in your reporting. In order to receive a payment, you must provide us with your bank information. Navigate to Settings->Payment in the affiliate dashboard and provide your banking information, select a preferred currency and set a minimum payment threshold. You are eligible to receive commissions through direct deposit after you have reached our program minimum payment threshold. Payment thresholds vary by country or currency and can be seen in your account settings. Affiliate payments are available 90 days after the date of sale, assuming your payment threshold has been met. When a user clicks on your affiliate link, the Affiliate Program tracks their Asset Store purchase activity for 24 hours. If the user purchases assets under $5, you will be rewarded 2% commission less any returns/refunds. If the user purchases assets $5 or greater, you will earn 5% commission less any returns/refunds.
